Jonathan Hill CBEJonathan's main work is in defending and promoting the reputations of companies and individuals, in crisis management and in campaigning. He has a particular specialisation in education and transport, and does a lot of work alongside lawyers handling the communication aspects of legal cases. Before founding Quiller in 1998, Jonathan worked as a Senior Consultant at one of the UK's leading communications groups. That followed a four-year spell at 10 Downing Street, first in the Policy Unit (1991-92) and then as Political Secretary and Head of the Prime Minister's Political Office (1992-94). In the Policy Unit, he specialised in transport, housing and inner city policy. As Political Secretary, he ran the Prime Minister's campaign during the 1992 General Election. Jonathan had an earlier spell in Whitehall from 1986 - 89, when he worked as a Special Adviser in three Government Departments - Employment, Health and Trade and Industry. Before that, he worked in the City of London and in publishing having graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge with a Double First in History. He has written, with Baroness Hogg, an account of life at 10 Downing Street entitled 'Too Close To Call'. He is a trustee of the National Literacy Trust, and a Governor of Highgate and Hanford Schools. |
